Debuting as a wealthy, skirt-chasing "corporate executive" character, Venis became one of the most recognizable and successful wrestlers of his era, winning multiple world championships and remaining an active performer well into the 2000s.
Val Venis, real name Sean Morley, first entered the wrestling business in 1983 after a successful amateur and collegiate career. He was immediately recognized for his striking good looks, charismatic personality, and larger-than-life stage presence. Venis was signed to World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW), where he quickly became a fan favorite with his brash, womanizing "millionaire playboy" gimmick.
